Telecommunications: The firm advises on matters covering all aspects of the telecommunications industry. It has been involved in almost every relevant telecommunications project in Brazil and has contributed to proposed rulemakings for the regulation of telecommunication services.
Energy: The firm handles all types of contractual and regulatory matters in the energy area, including the structuring and implementation of generation and transmission projects, the preparation and negotiation of power purchase, gas suppply and other agreements, and the granting of concessions and authorisations.
Capital Markets & Finance: The firmhas extensive experience in capital market finance, having participated in the structuring of several financings involving foreign lenders, the local capital market and international and Brazilian official credit agencies (including BNDES), as well as trade financing facilities. The firm has handled a number of financings, including debt securities issuance of vendor and project finance, particularly in infrastructure sectors, as well as debt and equity securities issuances and offers.
Privatisation, Public Bids & Governmental Contracts: The firm specialises in public bids and governmental contracts. It has participated in numerous large Brazilian public bids and privatisations.
Tax: The firm advises on all aspects of Brazilian tax legislation, including in connection with tax planning.
