Specialisation: Principal of specialist landlord and tenant firm. Deals with contentious and non-contentious residential landlord and tenant law, particularly in the areas of contract drafting and negotiation.

Professional Memberships: Fellow National Association of Estate Agents; Member Institute of Directors.

Career: Originally worked in accountancy and tax; set up own firm specialising in residential lettings; developed the first ever residential lettings training business; qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and set up a niche practice in 2001 which has grown from two partners and three members of staff to over 15 employees since. Member of Council for The Dispute Service Ltd which runs one of the statutory deposit protection schemes under the Housing Act 2004.

Publications: 'The Manual of Residential Lettings' three editions; Various articles in professional residential lettings publications; Specialist documentation for professional bodies including the RICS and NFOPP.

Personal: Studied at Heriot Watt University and at Bristol University under Professor Martin Partington.
