Profile

Specialisation: Anna specialises in all aspects of family law, especially complex financial disputes arising from a marriage/ relationship breakdown and disputes relating to children, including those concerning residence and/ or contact. A large proportion of her work involves international issues and she has a particular expertise and interest in relocation (leave to remove) cases. Anna represented the father in the reported case of Re C (permission to remove from jurisdiction) [2003] 1FLR 1066 and the mother in Re D (Leave to remove: shared residence) [2006] Fam Law 1006.

Professional Memberships: Member of Resolution, the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the Holborn and Westminster Law Society and KEA. She is also the secretary of the International Committee of Resolution.

Career: Anna graduated from the University of Warwick in law in 1995. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1998, joined Manches in 2001 and became a Partner in 2005.

Publications: Anna has written a number of articles for various publications, including an article published in family law, August 2005, on the law concerning leave to remove, comparing the UK position and that in other countries.

Personal: Anna is married with a young daughter, she enjoys running, swimming and playing tennis. She is also a keen traveller.
