Specialisation: Dan is a Partner in the Fraud and Insolvency Group at Mishcon de Reya. Dan specialises in heavyweight commercial litigation and arbitration with a particular emphasis on corporate fraud and the recovery of stolen assets, often with an international aspect. He acts for both claimants and defendants. He is an expert on cases involving breach of fiduciary duty, derivative actions, shareholder disputes, breach of confidence and theft and misuse of trade secrets and business data. He has led a number of high profile multi-jurisdictional fraud claims over the past few years and has recovered tens of millions of pounds in damages. He is recognised for his aggressive approach to his cases, his emphasis on returns of investment and his track record of winning disputes for clients.
