Online Submissions
Our online submissions system allows you to enter information directly into our database using the unique login and password for your firm. This will be sent in an e-mail in the month before research starts.
Simply login and upload documents containing information relevant to each country and practice in which you wish to be considered. Please see our Guidelines as to the information we require. The client referees for that practice area should be put at the end of each document.

Tips on Preparing Submissions
- Only provide the information asked for in our guidelines. Do not prepare lengthy overviews.
- Provide contact details for current, relevant clients. The researchers will contact the clients so please submit the names, phone numbers and ideally e-mail addresses
of approachable clients who are willing to share an overview of their legal providers.
- Include any comparable information between your firm and others. If you think you should be ranked in band 2 not band 4, then offer some information about
why you are on a par with the firms in band 2. For example, did you work together on a deal or deals of equivalent value or importance?
- Dont give out clients who are difficult to contact. A researcher may only have time to try a client once or twice. Try to list clients who are likely to be available.
Deals to Include in the Submission
- Illustrate to the researcher why a deal is important, especially when the value of the deal is not large. Look for ground-breaking elements, complexity, firsts, time
pressure, etc. Was it the most important deal of the year in your industry sector?
- A researcher will also be looking for a way to compare your deals with those of your competitors, so if you won a deal ahead of a competitor then put this in the
submission. If there was a leading firm on the other side of the deal then point that out.
- If a deal is confidential, it is still worth including if possible. Just be sure to mark it clearly as confidential on the submission. We assure you that requests for
confidentiality will be honoured.
We would like to stress that submissions are optional and while they certainly help us with our research, they do not in themselves determine the rankings. Telephone interviews form the basis of our research and no lawyers are included unless they are strongly recommended by the market and most importantly by purchasers of legal services. Submissions do not in themselves determine the rankings.
