Chambers Women in Law
The objectives of Chambers WIL are to:
1) promote and further the advancement of women in the law on an international level;
2) raise awareness and discussion of key issues that affect women in law;
3) provide a professional and social network for women lawyers.
The Chambers Women in Law awards recognise the outstanding achievements of female lawyers at the pinnacle of their professional careers as well as up and coming lawyers who are beginning to make their mark. The Chambers WIL blog provides an opportunity for discussion around the issues of women’s visibility and promotion within the legal profession.
On January 15th, 2013, two hundred guests attended the Chambers Women in Law Awards 2013 at The Harvard Club of New York City. The awards were presented by Laura Beth Taylor from DuPont, Louise Parent from American Express and Mary Jo White from Debevoise. The winners list is available here.
